Prohok ~

~ is referred to crushed, salted, fermented fish.

How it's made? first of, we get the fishes regardless of size. the bigger, the better because bigger fish are more expensive. once we got fishes, we have to do de-scaling, cutting and cleaning. afterward, we have to do grinding and crushing. most people crush fishes with their barefoot (how disgusting) :D Once they are crushed, they will be salted and store within a jar full of salted. it will be placed under the sun for one full day. then ready to consume.

why it's made? Cambodia is rich in fishes and it is season based. this method help Cambodian to preserve their fish up to few years. and Prohok is one of the ingredient to be found in many Cambodian dishes.

To sum up, i used to shoot this question "can we preserve the frenship forever?"... the answer from time to time always the same. "nth can last forever". all we can do is to enjoy every moment that we have. we don know what's going to happen in the next day. it is true. the future is unpredictable but to me, what i am having is more valuable then the fact "nth can last forever" which make me dying to preserve it. I wish there's a method to preserve frenship like Prohok.

motivation is very important especially mental support. if we are not confident from initial state, how could we feel confident that it can be done???

We all felt very happy to reach this place since there were not so many people visit this pagoda.

We felt like we come to the right place.

This is where i could find the gift. yes, we had lunch at Oudong, Oudom's hometown.

Since we have dinner at Oudong, y don we have our snack at Bak Kheng??? GOOD IDEA!!!
