Life may be short but it is definitely not simple

I think when they mean "simple" is to simplify ur life. Apparently there are many things going on in life. A hell lot of thing to worry and to accomplish. If u put up everything from the time u were born until the point u a sitting right now, there are loads of taste u have come thru. Academic performance, goals, challenges, friends, feeling, mood, relationship, family, future plan, joy, sorrow, smile, tears, a fight to redeem urself, a fight to get urself out of bad situation (last minute assignment & project, of course) and many many many more.

I used to mention it's very interesting to take a few minute to clear ur mind and observe people around u and think what they are doing & why they are doing. By observing u will see many direction of life. Each and everyone of them are heading different way but toward their ultimate goal. Everyone want the best out of their life but why not taking the same direction? isn't there a norm for direction to successful life? even the word successful itself, they give thousands of different definitions.

Hope now you see it as complicated as i do. However, it's good if we could simplify it. Don let those unsolved doubt bother ur peaceful mind. It's being said from mouth to mouth that u should enjoy what u currently have. It is true. Hang out with your frens, complete your work or assignment with confidence to make best out of it, working toward ur goal though no specific mean of how to reach and lastly love your family, love your partner, love your frens and those who love you.

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $10 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $5?'
DAD: If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed.
Think about why you are being so selfish.
I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions.
How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 5 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
DAD: 'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
SON: 'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
DAD: 'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man.
'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $5 you asked for.' The little boy sat straight up, smiling.
SON: 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
DAD: 'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
SON: 'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

SON: 'Daddy, I have $10 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

=>It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.

Random From Fresco

Quite a busy Saturday this week starting by having breakfast with family and mak yeay at Ngon, then my family drop me at NBC to do what i called "Over Time". Later have my lunch with my colleague at Chey Chum Neous "Nem Nerng" and spend my whole afternoon wit ma fren trying to finish my stupid assignments yet not a very fruitful day. Quite a busy day for me but yah not feeling that great day. It's a bit tiring though it's weekend. Yes it's a complaining post but i can't make any progress of my assignment. that's y i come to shout in here cuz nobody would wanna listen to me; i think. I'm here sitting at fresco at the very same place i used to sit ordering the very same coffee i used to order but one different thing is that person is not here wit me. okay os ey talk hery... peace out!!!

at first i was kinda hesitate to get this item. unknown brand, looks small, second hand and uncertain of its quality.

after i have played it almost every night, man I LOVE IT!!!

quality is good though i can't really evaluate based on sound... but it's so comfy to play with. combining wit a set of Gibson Master Built Premium set of strings, this guitar ROCK ^ ^

the string stand very close to fret board which make me so easy to grip the chord. even my bar chord, i do it nice and easy. it's just not that fast as m a tweener to guitar.

the only one thing i don like abt this toy is the looks. i wish there is no black fading at the edge of guitar.

To sum up, this is the best guitar i have ever tried. if u wish to update ur guitar, i suggest second hand guitar. cheap and good quality.

solution to traffic jam...

a solution now is surfing internet and enjoying coffee at Caltex Calmet.

it's very nice that this place got coffee plus now. close to my house and a good place to relax until the traffic loosen up.

At first i was planning to sit at Total Wat Phnom; however when i was about to reverse my car into a parking lot, a (BLOODY) tuk tuk just drive through and took the parking i was abt to go to. THAT IS ONE SHITTY TUK TUK!!!

that's not a big deal, coffee plus also not a bad place. one thing to trouble me is that it is lil too narrow.

by the way, about the traffic.... it seems now traffic become worse and worse. i'm very tired to stay in traffic. i don mind driving but to stay in traffic jam, it does annoy me very lots. can't really imagine how the traffic gonna be in next few years... that would be a good reason to get a motor by that time (^ ,^) *woot woot*

i think that's all to write for a quick update for my journey back home :)

oh and one more thing. to someone far far away (she might be sleeping now), i miss you.

I thought I did a great job on that but nth is perfect. I can see a mistake which is kind of a silly mistake. It is not easy to handle the situation. I came across many situation which I couldn't handle it well. Without any specific, I've found it's easier to talk then to do. On road accident, argument, debate, discussion, tension talking or any other stuff, how well could u handle the problem? I can see it very important to be able to handle such those tension circumstance.

I don like the fact once another have already settle that problem though it's not good and other people come to say why don u do this? why don u do that? u should have done this and that like it is being planned very well. I wonder how that kind of person would handle if he/she was in that situation? It's easier to say than to do.

This is not related but I wanna keep on writing. I found my work is kinda busy (maybe not as much as other's work though; they may thought) and lots of thing to learn from it. Technically i have to learn the technical skill as well as soft skill. I find soft skill is very important. Though ur product is not perfect, u still make ur customer believable and can perfect-ionize your product as well. This is what makes different between people with same technical skill but different experience or soft skill.

Do you think teaching is a good method to improve your problem handling skill? I am thinking about it now. I wanna deal with more problem so I am prepared to handle with stronger problem.

Distance Relationship ~ Is it ur nightmare?

I used to be asked by my friend about this and I can say at first it kinda touch my nerve and i am worried about it. I'm afraid to lose her and that is my worst nightmare.

When you are miles apart, you are kinda hard to keep in good touch since it's not easy to update every single stories.When we are not updated, we don't find it less in conversation and sometimes it makes u think your relationship is going down; but that is not the case. that is just some excuse for some weak relationship.

However, I find it is important to have faith in your partner and distance relationship does some side effect but not much. The worst issue i am having with her is I am longing to meet her and so is she. Thanks today technology allow human to have cell phone and internet. If we were to be in 100 years back, I would be a lot, a lot , a very very lot miserable. I can tell the cell phone, internet chat or VOIP still cannot satisfy my longing feeling to meet her.

Can't imagine if i have to write letter to her and got her reply back once a week or even a month... I'm gonna be like a tasteless, dried, inedible sausage. :(

Wish her to be back here soon.

Proposal for Half Marathon!!! Anyone???

The National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, is organizing of the Olympic Day Phnom Penh Half Marathon 2011 in celebration of 117th year anniversary of Olympic Day , the formation of the International Olympic council in 1894. This event is going to be held in conjunction with the World Environment Day celebrations (WED) on the 18th of June 2011,which coincides with the birthday of the Queen Norodom Monivealth Sihanouk from the Royal Kingdom Cambodia.

Last mission @ Ratanakiri

Ratanakiri is the last province to Go-Live for Core Banking Project.

Here's a brief description of that Mission. Cut the crap of Thursday, Friday and Saturday cuz those days are for travelling and working. (days end with drinking and stuff.. On Saturday we had lunch at Yeak Lom Lake and yes I did swim in that lake. It remind me of Langkawi Lake) Both are consequence of volcanic eruption.

Let's kick off with Sunday. One of colleague found a local Tour guide. We had breakfast and started our journey to met aborigine local tribe. At first we felt comfortable cuz our guide is a local aborigine person too BUT ( of course every good things has a "BUT") we eventually found out he is from different tribe of the visited village. Guide is ទំពូន​ and visited village is គ្រិន. I can feel the villagers is not happy with our present as some of them were making loud shout while other told us to leave too. However the guide still insist "it's okay no worry, everything is alrite"... in my mind, i thought what the heck man... i walk out with the drivers and told him to សារ៉េក្បាលឡានចេញអោយហើយ... while other colleagues still enjoying taking photo. We went out village safe and sound :D

Here are some funny tradition i know abt those aborigine people. when they សែនព្រេន in their village, we are not suppose to enter and if we did, they will ask us to join the feast till we unconsciously drunk otherwise u have to pay for the whole party.. what is more interesting than that is abt their daughter. they always allow their daughter stayed in separate house. every guys can visit her as long as she like u. u can stay the whole night, do whatever u wish to.. the key is always wake up in the morning at 4PM and leave ASAP.. if the oldies caught u before u left, u have to marry their daughter... not really like it huh?

Other fun beside visiting those villages are... umm... we ate, we drank, we swam and we ate again, we drank and we drank... yeah!! that's y i gain lots of weight... :( felt so guilty to drink... the only thing i hate the most at that region is ស៊ីសត្វព្រៃ ... man i don like it at all... i remembered at the restaurant i ordered pork rib and waiter said it doesn't have... only got ជ្រូកព្រៃ អ្វីៗក៏ព្រៃ អញ្ចឹងបានស្រុកទេសហិនហោច។​ អ្នកទៅក៏អញ្ចឹងដែរ ចង់តែស៊ីសាច់ព្រៃ។​ យ៉ាប់នុះយ់ាប់។

We had a good time drinking and playing with waterfall... my drag one carton of beer to the water stream and drink in the mid of water stream... so cool... beer bring the heat and cool down by water. work is sometime busy which kept me out of town most of the time. I was back from Pursat on Saturday night. very tiring for a rushing work but everything paid off on Sunday.

I have a great, by great I mean REALLY GREAT, time hanging out and m really appreciated abt ur presence. until Sunday evening I joined a wedding feast of a colleague. Well, I could see how wild my colleagues have been and of course m one of them. :)

One of ma buddy just come back from Malaysia since 10th but so far I still haven't got a chance to meet him yet. Other frens too... I told them I would have met them once my schedule is not so tight but I haven't done any. Really sorry.

It was a nice evening. It was awesome!!

New Office

I was waiting curiously for this new office as our IT dept move from ground floor to second floor. This location used to be canteen so adding renovation it will be a beautiful place. Everything looks good. the cieling and light green wall give me a pleasant sight.

However, not everything please my feeling. When i try to set up my pc... Frustration started. I found out my UPS was taken not only that but Mouse, Keyboard, VGA Cable, Power Cable.. M not very happy abt that and I DON LIKE people took my staff. I understand that when moving... everything is messed up and don know whose is whose but I am quite aware of my personal stuff. This make me feel being invaded.

Yah just to shout out so I could release sth out of me. Thus, welcome to my new office. Promise u guys to post a picture of this office one day. Now i don have Camera with me.

At last, i can bring you back now... now i can log in and read all crap in my frens blog. what could be happier than this? oh boy, it's been very quiet and out of date since i couldn't access blogspot. Well, good to be back. :)

let's do some update for myself today... wake up in early morning coming to work to and joining national anthem. ummm... from home i brought two bananas and a sack of cracker which still remain on my table.

that's all until this moment. :D

here is the update about my life.. i become a person enjoying life with whatever i have in my hand. i kinda stop wishing thing to happen and tend to let it be. i used to be a desperate person about this and that.. maybe i still be that guy but somehow i don feel as ហេលហាល as before. one more thing abt me is i'm more saving than before. (សន្សំសំចៃ មិនមែនម៉ៅស្វិតទេ អង់គ្លេសថា thrifty)

oh one more thing that i worry abt. ក្បាលពោះ!!! យប់ម៉ិញ ពេលដោះអាវក្នុងបន្ទប់ទឹក ស្ទើរតែលោះព្រលឹង ព្រោះឃើញ tummy ញុំ oh my god!!! => last nite didn't eat much though we have a very nice meal. this is the saddest part of ma life!!

Tour de Cambodge

Monday, i was in Phnom Penh, Ta Khmao and Takeo Province.

Spending one night in Takeo, the next day I travel all the way to Prey Veng passing by Phnom Penh again.

Tuesday night and Wednesday morning were spent at Prey Veng.

Wednesday, I stayed at my lovely home for one night and start the tour to Kg. Speu on thursday.

This is my friday staying in the office and somehow, I hope that I will have good weekeng. Cheers!!! Adios~

Upcoming Holiday~

tomorrow is public holiday and including weekend it's three days off!! yatttaaaaa~

what m gonna do? currently no plan yet. bong dy wanna come with plan to go some where a bit further from town. My sis asked me to go to KPS (to be her camera man)...

In my mind, it's blank. I haven't decide what to do yet but yah i still owe one assignment to the Big Head. Hope tomorrow can go through it :D
